It's my first time to dine at Hayashi. Booked the dinner for 4 to celebrate my friend's birthday. We decided to go to a Japanese restaurant that we have never been to, and will for sure go back again! The food was lovely, above my expectations. Should have taken photos but was impressed by the starter from beginning and totally forgot about it. All dishes we ordered were very good, except the pork katsu was a big dry & thin, still very tasty though. We will go back again!

Waka Waka

8 of us from Probus, Glenfield had a truly lovely lunch here on Wednesday 11th September, having never been here as a group before. It was busy but the service was was experienced & speedy. No complaints about the perfectly cooked food - plentiful and interesting.....& reasonably priced. We will certainly be back in the not too far off future. Thank you Hayashi. Gillian

Hands down, one of the best Japanese restaurants in Auckland (With a bit of Korean). Greeted indoors with a smile and served with excellent food, I would highly recommend this place. Food taste is very clean to the end and is very polished. I don't review this detailed but this place left me a great impression. Atmosphere is great while on late evenings it gets even quieter. Parking can be a hassle though. Would highly recommend.

This place is a wee hidden Gem , first time there and LOVED IT!!!! Definitely going back and love to support local businesses, staff were friendly and the food was Amazing
